We’re seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Regional Sales Director
- to lead revenue growth, expand market presence, and build a high-performing sales organization for the Houston metropolitan area.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to reach or exceed territory growth and revenue expectations.
- Works with Sales Representatives in the field to assess and develop their selling and territory management capabilities.
- Develops and implements organization's sales policies and procedures, products and/or services.
- Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
- Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.
- Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
- Sets up sales territory for sales representatives.
- Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products and services offered.
- Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
- Maintains relationships with key clients and assists sales representatives in negotiating and closing deals.
- Collaborates with other sales-related units to coordinate liaison activities.
- Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Recommends and approves budget and expenditures for sales.
- Interviews, hires, trains, and manages employees.
- Communicates directly with new and existing customers or clients to help grow base of business through up-selling, new lead generation, referrals, and by explaining features and merits of products or services offered.
- Demonstrates or articulates details about our product or services and provides assistance in the best application of products or services.
- Answers all questions concerning a product or service, with appropriate coordination of sales negotiations where required.
- Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience (healthcare industry preferred).
- Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and leading high-performing teams.
