Regional Sales Associate

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist regional sales teams increase premium and sales in assigned territory that is consistent with product and strategic goals, which includes:
• Prospecting, recruiting, developing, and strengthening relationships with distributors;
• Making weekly appointments with current or potential sources of distribution.
• Effectively assists in the management of the assigned territories, which includes:
• Working collaboratively with regional sales managers, regional wholesalers, and distributors to develop territory to meet sales goals;
• Utilizing Hub Spot CRM and measurables for basic territory management and contact management reporting.

Training And Development

• Follow a structured training process, which includes:
• Industry knowledge;
• Life and Health License; CLU, LUTCF;
• Assurity Products;
• Brokerage and Worksite Distribution;
• Personal Productivity;
• Home Office Operations.

After initial training this position may transition to a Regional Wholesaler position. Associate is responsible for building and managing a territory.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field or relevant experience.

PHYSICAL AND WORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

• May require work more than 40 hours a week in order to complete functions of position.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is an essential function to this position.
