About the role
The Oklahoma/Southern Kansas Regional Representative will be the face of Quail Forever and Pheasants Forever in a region rich in upland traditions. They will strengthen and grow a dynamic network of local chapters and volunteers dedicated to creating lasting conservation impact in their communities and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Support and energize chapter leaders
- Elevate local fundraising events
- Launch new chapters and reinvigorate existing ones by developing strong volunteer leadership teams
- Collaborate with the Development team to cultivate donors and partners
- Keep chapter leaders engaged through regular, motivational communication
- Organize and lead regional and statewide chapter meetings
- Collaborate with peers across departments to deliver a unified conservation message to our volunteer base
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, wildlife conservation, education, or a related field
- Experience collaborating with volunteers, nonprofit boards, or grassroots campaigns preferred
- Deep understanding of QF & PF’s mission and model
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you’re a connector and a motivator
- Organized and self-driven, able to manage multiple projects across a broad geography
- Comfortable using technology to support day-to-day work, troubleshoot issues for chapters, and clearly explain systems and processes to volunteers
- Passion for conservation, the uplands, and the hunting community
- Willingness to travel frequently within Oklahoma and Southern Kansas
Perks & Benefits
- Salary: $59,000 – $65,000 (commensurate with experience)
