Regional Remarketing Auction Manager
About the role
You support the growth of SIXT’s revenue by identifying, acquiring, and managing auction partners. You manage strategic planning, promotional activities, and performance targets with auction partners and OEMs. You liaise with direct dealer sales, operations, and field remarketing to drive consistency and maximize volume. You maintain and enhance auction lane positioning, CR scores, and dealer participation to elevate the SIXT brand. You receive and resolve issues with auction partners, establish best practices, and represent units across wholesale channels. You assist with vendor partnerships, marketing efforts, and the evaluation of vehicle disposal methods to optimize revenue and reduce costs.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in the automotive industry
- 3 years in the auction industry
- 3 years in the rental industry (strongly preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of AutoIMS and regional pricing processes
- Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently or remotely
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High safety awareness
- Experience analyzing remarketing data and developing comprehensive plans
- Experience establishing national vendor agreements
