About the role
Oversee clinical services in a multi-state region, primarily managing long-term care and nursing facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a regional clinical staffing team, ensuring compliant and effective coverage.
- Recruit, hire, train, and conduct performance evaluations for Registered Dietitians.
- Implement retention strategies and foster team engagement through communication and meetings.
- Oversee budget and expense management, including labor, supplies, and contract services, while monitoring revenue targets.
- Utilize company systems to track financial and clinical performance, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
- Provide clinical support, develop corrective action plans, and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
- Participate in strategic planning, business reviews, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams for growth opportunities.
- Manage special projects and support clinical practices in food handling and service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, residents, and stakeholders, and maintain safety protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or related field; registered dietitian and licensed as required.
- 3-5 years of dietary management and clinical experience in long-term care.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven P&L and budget management experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to lift, stand, sit, and work around food and cleaning products.
- Must reside within the service area; no relocation costs provided.
