Regional Recruiter
About the role
Fills professional level positions, requiring expertise in sourcing quality candidates through various channels.
Responsibilities
- Scouts talent markets and sources candidates globally for open positions
- Routinely manages a requisition load of 50+ job openings
- Utilizes sourcing tools like LinkedIn, competitor websites, and internal databases to find passive candidates
- Cold calls and pre-screens potential candidates to assess fit for open positions
- Works with hiring and regional managers to develop recruitment plans
- Develops market-specific candidate databases for all assigned regions
- Conducts pre-interview screenings, reference checks, and employment verifications
- Conducts initial interviews to gather information on applicants
- Notifies applicants of job details, compensation, benefits, and other relevant information
- Arranges travel and lodging for selected applicants
- Communicates with job applicants regarding employment considerations
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Assists with non-professional positions on a case-by-case basis
- Completes and submits required reports by set deadlines
- Visits branch offices to understand local office culture and personnel
- Attends networking events and facilitates partnerships with hiring managers
- Uses the ATS to manage candidates outside of the ATS ("passive candidates")
- Aids in implementing best recruiting practices
- Collaborates with regional and corporate recruiting teams to meet goals
Requirements
BA/BS in Human Resources or a related field with 5-7+ years of recruiting experience.
Qualifications
Knowledge of industry trends, ability to manage large requisition loads, proficiency in ATS systems, and strong communication skills.
