Key Responsibilities
- Provide regional leadership for quality systems, product safety, and regulatory compliance to ensure adherence to company standards and applicable regulations.
- Partner with plant teams to develop, implement, and sustain quality programs, processes, and performance standards.
- Monitor quality performance and identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities related to products, processes, and systems.
- Lead or support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and resolution of product, process, and compliance issues.
- Provide technical quality support to plants, including troubleshooting system-related quality issues and supporting product-related concerns.
- Support preparation for and participation in internal and external quality audits, helping ensure readiness and follow-through on findings.
- Coach, train, and develop plant personnel and less experienced quality team members to strengthen capability and drive consistent execution.
- Serve as a subject matter resource for questions related to quality systems, product safety, compliance, and quality standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, regulatory, and other partners to improve quality outcomes and standardize best practices.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires 8–12 years of relevant quality experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Prior experience supporting multiple sites or regional quality activities is preferred.
- Leadership or people-development experience is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with quality systems, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methods.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve product, process, and compliance issues in a structured and practical way.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization.
- Solid project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across sites.
- Experience using testing equipment and interpreting quality data as needed.
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and quality standards, including ISO 9001; familiarity with additional ISO standards is a plus.
- Quality or engineering certifications are a plus.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $108,400.00 - $184,600.00 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $110,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
