Job Summary

The Regional Quality Assurance Manager will provide training and support to PTI’s Licensed Installers and Certified Builders, conduct warranty evaluations, and possibly perform repairs. The role involves travel to multiple installers and builders within specific regions, as well as home inspections and customer interactions.

Job Location

This is a remote-based role when not traveling. Must reside in the greater Charlotte, NC, North/South NJ, Philadelphia, PA, or NY metro markets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure high-quality installations by supporting and training PTI’s installer base
  • Communicate with pool builders/applicators about product installation quality and address customer concerns
  • Travel to multiple installers and builders for scheduled visits and urgent issues
  • Inspect and resolve escalated customer situations related to Pebble Tec finishes
  • Maintain regular communication with Warranty Administrator, Customer Service Manager, and Director
  • Work with PTI Sales Managers to ensure seamless customer service experience
  • Document and update customer interactions using PTI’s customer service software, forms, and reports
  • Collaborate with R&D in developing new products, providing feedback on product performance, and creating care and maintenance protocols
  • Absorb and represent the high standards of quality and customer satisfaction expected from all PTI employees
  • Able to perform minor repairs as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Organizational ability
  • Construction/manual labor experience (plus)
  • Proficient with computers
  • Strong water chemistry background (plus)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly recommended
  • Travel up to 60% within region (day and overnight)
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stretch, stoop, reach (including overhead)
  • Swimming capability
  • Comfortable working with chemicals
  • Valid driver's license

Compensation

  • Base salary: $90,000 - $100,000
