What You'll Do
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for a portfolio of multifamily and senior housing communities.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Property Managers and Maintenance teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Drive occupancy, resident satisfaction, financial performance, and regulatory compliance across the portfolio.
- Review property financials, budgets, and monthly reporting while partnering with onsite teams to improve NOI.
- Conduct regular property inspections and implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure LIHTC compliance, Fair Housing standards, and company policies are consistently followed.
- Partner with onsite teams to improve leasing performance, resident retention, and overall property operations.
- Review vendor contracts, capital projects, and maintenance performance.
- Train and support onsite teams in OneSite (or comparable property management software).
- Serve as the primary escalation point for operational and resident concerns.
- Travel regularly throughout the assigned portfolio to support onsite teams.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of multifamily property management experience
- 3+ years in a Regional Property Manager or senior leadership role
- Extensive LIHTC / Affordable Housing experience required
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, variance analysis, and NOI management
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
- Knowledge of Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations
- Experience with OneSite or comparable property management software
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned portfolio
Preferred Qualifications
- HCCP, TCS, COS, or other affordable housing certifications
- National Apartment Association designations (optional)
- South Carolina Property Manager License (or ability to obtain, if required)
