The Opportunity
The Regional Practice Director provides strategic, operational, and people leadership across assigned practices within a defined geographic region. This role is responsible for driving performance, ensuring operational excellence, and partnering closely with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to deliver high-quality results aligned with organizational goals. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring significant on-site presence and close collaboration with practice and hospital leadership.
Location & Travel Requirements
- Onsite presence required approximately 75% of the time
- Relocation is required if not currently residing within the assigned region
- Extensive regional travel to supported practices and client sites is expected
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level leadership and oversight for multiple practices within the assigned region
- Drive operational performance, financial outcomes, and quality metrics across all sites
- Partner closely with client executives, physicians, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional leadership teams to support engagement, retention, and performance
- Ensure consistency in execution of operational standards, workflows, and best practices
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities; proactively develop and implement improvement strategies
- Serve as a trusted advisor and escalation point for complex operational and client issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field)
- Progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, practice management, or revenue cycle environments
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site or regional operations
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, change-driven environment
Preferred Experience
- Experience partnering with hospital systems or large provider groups
- Proven ability to lead through transformation, growth, or integration initiatives
- Strong people leadership with a focus on accountability and development
Pay & Benefits
This position pays between $140-160K
