Overview
Army Ready and Resilient Performance Centers provide instruction in resilience, positive psychology, and performance enhancement to U.S. Army and Department of Defense personnel, their families, and Department of the Army civilians at 35 Army installations within the United States and Overseas. The Performance Center Manager (PCM) serves as the local installation Subject Matter Expert (SME) for program matters; and leads, manages, and directs contractor staff assigned to their respective program Training Center (TC).
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Serve as the local installation Point of Contact (POC) for the R2PC matters and lead, manage and direct contractor staff assigned to their respective R2PC.
- Cook up in conjunction with the GTM and local installation leadership to plan, prepare and execute training and education.
- Participate in the local Community Ready and Resilient Council (CR2C), unit operation and training meetings, and community-based events to integrate capabilities provided by the R2PC.
- Participates in the program and serves as the primary POC for Master Resilience Trainer (MRT) Level 1 training.
- Ensures quality control of all MRT-PE's to include certification, continuous evaluations, MRT-PE progression to higher levels.
- Conducts rehearsals for training presentations to ensure MRT-PEs are "ready to teach."
- Conducts local program Quality Assurance/Quality Enhancement and provides required reports.
- In coordination with the GTM, develops the annual training schedule at their respective installation and provides a draft training schedule to the COR-RA for approval.
Required Skills, Education, Experience & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Prior experience serving in the military, or as a DOD civilian employee, or as a military dependent.
- Graduate of MRT level one (MRT training may be completed after start of employment).
- Minimum of five years’ relevant experience managing, overseeing, and completing the same or similar work, such as training facilitation, and including a demonstrated knowledge of support and sustainment-related operations.
- Able to represent the Ready and Resilient Performance Center program to senior level leadership at the installation level to include General Officers and Garrison Commanders.
- Possess or obtain National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Tier 1 background investigation.
- Must be able to operate general office equipment including but not limited to computer, phones and related media and information devices on most or all workdays.
- Able to communicate and interact with others, both in-person, by telephone or virtually to conduct business.
- Able to work under time pressure and rapidly for long periods to meet deadlines.
- Good command of the English language which includes the ability to read, write, understand, and clearly and effectively communicate the language.
- Organized and experienced multi-tasker.
