Regional Patient Food Service Manager (Travel Required)
Salary: $75,000-80,000 with annual bonus potential. Territory covers focus accounts in the Central and Western United States; 75% travel required (typically Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday). Ideal candidate is based in TX or another Central/Western state near a major airport.

Responsibilities
- Establish goals and oversee implementation of patient food services based on medical direction and patient population.
- Coach, train, and develop patient service team members.
- Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to meet patient preferences within diet-order guidelines.
- Support patient services staff in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals.
- Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies.
- Participate in and lead patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
Requirements
- Associate degree with one year of work experience in food services or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or a related field.
- Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian preferred.
- Minimum of three years of food service management experience, preferably in an acute care or contract-managed food service setting.
- ServSafe® certification desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems.
