About the Role

Working at Uber means solving complex, real-world problems where performance and scale can't be separated. As a Regional Operations Manager, you aren't just overseeing a process; you are the driver navigating the messy reality of global systems to turn strategic goals into tangible execution. Whether you are incubating multi-tier supply partnerships or bridging the gap between business needs and advanced data science, you'll be expected to make smart decisions with imperfect information and own the outcomes end-to-end. This role is built for those who thrive in high-stakes, fast-moving environments where the only constant is change. You will act as both a hands-on operator and a strategic partner, managing the tension of competing priorities and building processes from the ground up. If you are energized by ambiguity, stay steady under pressure, and are motivated by the challenge of moving the real world, this is where you'll grow.

  • Monitor, understand, and interpret key operational and financial metrics to inform strategy and action plans.
  • Develop and apply understanding of the levers that move our business.
  • Identify the root cause of risks and opportunities, propose multiple, practical solutions, and weigh tradeoffs to recommend the best approach.
  • Implement, optimize, and scale core analyses and processes, regularly reviewing performance.
  • Proactively search for new features or improvements that could improve the experience on and efficiency of our marketplace, measure their impact, and collaborate with Product teams to implement launches.
  • Maintain productive working relationships with immediate team and cross-functional partners across operations, marketing, customer support, product, policy, and legal to scope, test, and implement initiatives.

May telecommute.

  • Project management.
  • Building data-driven slide decks using Google slides or PowerPoint.
  • Assessment of business operations for regulatory compliance risk.
  • Creating data-driven business strategies.

$110,968 to $137,078 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program and may be offered other types of compensation.
