Regional Nursing Supervisor-Manager

Overview

Seven Hills Community Services, an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation, seeks a Regional Nursing Supervisor-Manager to advocate for the medical needs of assigned program participants in the Southeast region. This role involves supervising nursing staff, managing medical services, and ensuring compliance with professional standards and organizational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate healthcare and services for participants in the Southeast Region.
• Select programs with greater nursing hours and oversee more extensive responsibilities.
• Institute appropriate follow-up and communicate all medical issues to relevant SHCS staff.
• Maintain, review, and supervise all medical care services in the Southeast.
• Provide supervision and training to northeast nursing staff.
• Train as a Medication Administration Program (MAP) trainer and oversee MAP compliance.
• Attend and participate in residential staff meetings, providing in-service training on medical topics as needed.
• Complete reports in accordance with regulations.
• Facilitate communication with participants' physicians for medical information and treatment.
• Document medical needs and interventions as needed.
• Advise the Health Care Director of any medical issues hindering a person's progress or placement.
• Foster the growth of individuals and treat them with respect, dignity, and cultural sensitivity.
• Be familiar with regulations and statutes governing the rights of program participants.
• Implement procedures and services as assigned by the Health Care Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current MA license.
• 2-3 years of experience working in a residential setting with disabled adults.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.

Skills and Knowledge

• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid Massachusetts drivers license.
