Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the merchant acquisition strategy for your region
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified merchant opportunities
  • Possess the ability to prospect, approach, and acquire new merchants through outbound and relationship-driven sales
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to signed agreement and successful onboarding
  • Identify high-value merchant opportunities across multiple industries
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure successful merchant launches
  • Develop local partnerships and co-marketing initiatives that accelerate merchant acquisition
  • Represent GoBTC Pay at business events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Continuously gather market intelligence and competitor insights
  • Report pipeline health, sales forecasts, and commercial performance to leadership

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Merchant Acquisition, or B2B Sales
  • Proven track record of acquiring and closing new business
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills
  • Experience selling fintech, payments, SaaS, banking, crypto, or financial products
  • Ability to build a pipeline independently
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias toward action
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Existing business network within USA
  • Fluent English

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with merchants or enterprise customers
  • Knowledge of payment processing, acquiring, or merchant services
  • Experience in crypto or digital assets
