Regional Medical Scientific Director (aka Medical Science Liaison) Immunology - GI (Southern-Midwest)

About the role

We are seeking a Growth and Improvement minded Regional Medical Scientific Director (Medical Science Liaison) in Inflammatory Bowel Disease Immunology to help drive Strategic Operating Priorities. The role is a credentialed Director-level Medical Affairs position and therapeutic/disease expert who engages in bidirectional exchange of scientific or medical information with Scientific Leaders, provides balanced factual scientific information about non-product areas and replies to scientific questions about company products, and liaises between the scientific community and the company to enhance comprehension of scientific foundations and goals for approved, in-development, and active company-sponsored trials and investigator-sponsored research.

Responsibilities

• Scientific Exchange: Develop professional relationships with national and regional Scientific Leaders; conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions; address scientific questions and direct out-of-scope inquiries; maintain current knowledge of the dynamic scientific and clinical environment in the company's Areas of Interest.
• Research: Upon request from Global Center for Scientific Affairs, initiate discussions with SLs/potential investigators to assess alignment with research strategies; enhance comprehension of investigator-sponsored research goals;
