Regional Medical Scientific Director (aka Medical Science Liaison) Immunology - GI (Southeast)

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with Scientific Leaders for effective exchanges of medical and scientific information
• Conduct peer discussions to ensure SLs have a reliable medical contact within the company
• Address scientific inquiries and guide SLs to appropriate resources for issues outside of your scope
• Stay updated on dynamic scientific developments in the therapeutic area
• Initiate discussions with SLs to align research strategies with investigator-sponsored research efforts
• Identify barriers to patient enrollment in clinical studies and recommend solutions
• Engage in scientific congresses to facilitate data exchange regarding both company and competitor information

Qualifications

• PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD required
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant Immunology experience, specifically in Inflammatory Bowel Disease
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with stakeholders
• Proficient in managing scientific discussions and inquiries
• Thorough understanding of FDA and ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms
