Regional Medical Scientific Director (aka Medical Science Liaison) Immunology - GI (Southern-Midwest)

Responsibilities

• Engage with national and regional Scientific Leaders (SLs) to distribute medical and scientific information
• Conduct peer-to-peer conversations to establish and maintain rapport with SLs
• Address and direct scientific inquiries from SLs aligned with company policies
• Initiate scientific exchanges with investigators while aligning with research strategies
• Identify and mitigate barriers to patient enrollment in clinical studies
• Recommend study sites and assist with Site Initiation Visits (SIVs) as needed
• Support and facilitate scientific congresses by managing data exchange at meetings

Qualifications

• PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD required
• 3+ years of experience in Immunology, specifically Inflammatory Bowel Disease
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to facilitate doctoral-level discussions with stakeholders
• Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations (FDA, OIG, HIPAA)
• Excellent stakeholder management and networking abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with virtual meeting platforms
