Regional Medical Officer- Field Remote

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational direction for performance-based medical management
• Manage budget and risk drivers effectively within the region
• Analyze and report on business performance to key stakeholders including senior management and the Board
• Participate in managing all clinical divisions, ensuring operational excellence
• Engage in local profit and loss performance analysis
• Collaborate with non-clinical departments to enhance operational flows
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Hospitalist, Family Practice, or Internist roles preferred, but open to new graduates
• 1+ year of preferred administrative experience
• 1+ year of preferred managed care experience
• Medical Doctorate (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) Completion of residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine in the United States
• Must be board certified or board eligible in specialty
• Strong communication skills and clinical confidence
