Responsibilities
- Work as a team with the Executive Team, the director, and other regional managers to ensure the overall success of the division.
- Screens, selects, and licenses sponsored providers, screens potential individuals for services, and directly supervises program managers.
- Ensures that services and locations are in compliance with all required regulations and policies, managing human rights and licensing issues in their assigned regions.
- Facilitate the growth of their region and develop relationships with outside supports and the community.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field and one year experience working directly with individuals who have intellectual disabilities.
- One year experience conducting, writing and approving assessments.
- One year supervisory experience required (experience can be concurrent).
- Demonstrated skill in administrative program management and supervision.
- Good oral, written, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with state licensing, human rights, Medicaid and other agency standards.
- Ability to maintain records, prepare reports and complete required paperwork per licensing and agency requirements in a timely manner.
- Ability to observe health and safety regulations.
- Basic computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office preferred.
- DSP Supervisor Orientation Certification or ability to acquire certification prior to serving individuals.
- CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to acquire certification within 30 days of employment.
- Certification in enCircle’s Crisis De-escalation/Behavior management or ability to acquire certification within 30 days of employment.
- Valid Virginia Drivers’ license and proof of insurance in compliance with driver requirement policy.
- Satisfactory Driving Record in compliance with Driver Requirement Policy.

Qualifications

Driving Requirements
- Must not have any of the following violations within the last 5 years:
- Reckless driving, including speeding 20mph or more over the posted speed limit.
- Driving under the influence/impaired/intoxicated or refusing a blood/breath test.
- Manslaughter or negligent homicide.
- Driving after being declared a habitual offender.
- Driving on a suspended or revoked license.
- Driving a commercial motor vehicle while disqualified, under the influence, with a blood alcohol level of .04 or higher, refusing a blood/breath test, or violating an out-of-service order.
- Injuring a person while racing - felony.
- Failure to stop at the scene of a crash where there is injury, death, or property damage of $1000 or more.
- Emergency vehicle violation - death.
- Vehicular assault or willful stopping, impeding, or damaging a vehicle.
- Blocking access to the service facility.
- Attempting to elude police.
- Operating an unsafe vehicle.
- Vulnerable Road User – Death.
Schedule
Flexible. Generally Monday-Friday, 8:30AM - 4:30PM.
