Regional Manager Hearing Care - Iowa OR Missouri
About the role
The Regional Manager, Hearing Care oversees a team of Hearing Care Coordinators (HCCs) to ensure exceptional patient care and service. Key responsibilities include guiding and supporting the HCCs, motivating and mentoring them, and overseeing their training and performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Hearing Care Coordinators through recruitment, hiring, and performance management
- Observe, explain, and coach on scheduled evaluations and ensure accuracy in regional collections and transactions
- Supervise clinic inventory control and insurance processes
- Oversee the insurance process and ensure proper completion of patient benefit checks
- Monitor and evaluate transactional compliance and duplication, and provide comprehensive training to HCCs beyond initial on-boarding
- Manage employee PTO and timecards in the ADP system, and facilitate smooth onboarding and ongoing training for new HCCs
- Act as a subject matter expert on company systems, processes, and policies, and proactively address process issues and errors
- Cultivate strong relationships with HCCs and foster effective communication between senior and junior coordinators
- Champion the company vision, mission, and values, and promote team morale
- Drive performance success by achieving KPIs related to demand for HCC accountable activities
- Operate in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and company policies
- Conduct regular marketing training for HCCs and ensure marketing materials and practices are current and on brand
- Report to marketing on a monthly basis on region and KPIs, and lead the region's yearly Engagement Survey (HearMe)
- Identify and evaluate local partnerships and provide business cases on potential ROI and opportunities
- Train HCCs on centrally driven marketing campaigns and handle responses and patients
- Support event operations and attend events to oversee operations

Requirements
Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Prior experience/knowledge with hearing aids is a plus. Certifications are not required.
Industry/Product Knowledge: Required. Prior experience/knowledge with hearing aids is a plus.
Skills/Abilities: Professional verbal and written communication, strong relationship building skills, and empathy are essential. Experience with Sycle.net, Microsoft Office, and Outlook is preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is required.
Work Experience: 2+ years in a healthcare environment is preferred. Previous management experience and training experience are also preferred. Previous customer service experience is required.
