About the role
You will lead and develop a team of Clinical Informaticists who partner with internal stakeholders to deliver quality pre- and post-deployment activities related to clinical workflow design and analysis. The role establishes standard best practices for implementation, deployment, and education.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams and work with client IT and clinical units to deliver solutions aligned with project success criteria.
- Demonstrate high performance in people management and people development.
- Serve as an ambassador for informatics, healthcare IT, and the use of technology to improve healthcare practices and efficiency.
- Understand and monitor national and regional healthcare trends, specifically around nursing-sensitive indicators.
- Use data to track and explain metrics, influencing and executing strategy based on insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a healthcare discipline (required).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including:
- 5 years in nursing or healthcare, with 2 of those years in a management or leadership role in a healthcare setting.
- 3 years of industry experience working cross-divisionally.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- MBA, MSN, or advanced degree.
- Clinical consultant experience in clinical workflow analysis or process design.
- Experience supporting healthcare technology such as nursing informatics.
Pay
Annual pay ranges (USD):
- United States (Nationwide): $135,600 – $225,900
- Puerto Rico: $135,600 – $225,900
- US5 (5+ years of experience): $142,400 – $237,200
- US10 (10+ years of experience): $149,200 – $248,500
- US15 (15+ years of experience): $155,900 – $259,800
- US20 (20+ years of experience): $162,700 – $271,100
- US30 (30+ years of experience): $176,300 – $293,700
