Regional Manager

About the role

Homestead manages senior living facilities across Michigan, with over 30 years of industry experience. We are seeking a Regional Manager to support Executive Directors at facilities in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. This role spearheads growth and process improvement initiatives, manages profit and loss, and involves regional travel to maintain a presence at supported facilities. This is an on-call position requiring coverage of open shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop or expand corporate and facility programs
• Monitor facility operations including budget compliance, clinical services, and regulatory compliance
• Recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-performance teams through training, coaching, and accountability
• Fill in for vacant shifts and remain available on-call
• Proactively identify opportunities within the region and implement action plans to address potential issues
• Take ownership of problems and act with urgency to reach resolutions
• Resolve all facility needs and requests; ensure facilities remain in working order
• Serve as team leader to the operational team
• Ensure facilities comply with corporate directives and implement corporate programs
• Direct activities of regional office support staff
• Develop policies and procedures for facilities
• Represent the corporation and facilities at industry meetings; promote programs through community involvement
• Oversee employee relations and staff conflict

Qualifications

• 4+ years of operations experience in the Health Care industry
• 2+ years managing HFA/AFC licensed communities
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the work week
• Strong computer skills
