About the Role
Ready to take the next step in your expanded learning career? This role involves working directly with site leadership, including staff, school administration, and students. The Regional Manager ensures the overall success of after-school and enrichment programs, manages day-to-day operations, and fosters a safe, supportive environment for education and staff.
Responsibilities
- Ensure overall success of all after-school and enrichment programs at partner sites.
- Manage day-to-day operations for assigned after-school program sites.
- Visit each of your sites at least once monthly.
- Attend district-wide meetings and ensure all district deadlines are met.
- Provide a physically and emotionally safe and supportive environment for education and staff.
- Use hands-on activities to foster individual growth, self-confidence, responsibility, and leadership.
- Maintain consistent, constructive, and clear communications with school administration, stakeholders, staff, and supervisor.
- Ensure all sites meet 100% of attendance goals and follow reporting procedures.
- Monitor site budgets and ensure compliance with financial goals.
- Assist in bringing on community partners for dynamic activities.
- Ensure sites maintain compliant Federal Program Monitoring (FPM) records.
- Uphold guidelines, policies, and procedures as set forth by the organization.
- Maintain schedules, deadlines, and meetings to prepare programs efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with parents, school staff, students, and community members.
- Assure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations and district educational goals.
- Coordinate events, activities, and meetings to increase support for programs.
- Lead and manage full-time and part-time site staff, students, instructors, and volunteers.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance assessments for staff.
- Monitor staff schedules, approve timecards, and manage time-off requests.
- Occasionally fill in for absent staff to ensure student safety.
- Ensure staff understands California wage and hour laws and expectations.
- Organize work daily, weekly, and monthly to meet key deadlines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in after-school programming operations and administration.
- Knowledge of California educational grants, compliance, and reporting.
- Computer and tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and multiple operating systems.
- Strong, clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively and make sound decisions quickly.
- BA/BS in Education or relevant subject matter preferred.
- Experience working in after-school programs or recreational facilities.
- Experience working with ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
- Energetic, motivated, and outgoing personality strongly desired.
- TB Test Clearance & Live Scan Clearance (background check).
- Bilingual/Spanish is a plus.

This is a full-time, exempt, and benefits-eligible position reporting to the Program Director.
