About the role
The Residential Regional Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing facility maintenance and repairs across several multifamily properties. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience. Key responsibilities include addressing work orders, managing the Make-Ready board, ensuring property grounds are maintained, and leading by example.
Responsibilities
- Address work orders and repair/maintenance issues before they escalate
- Utilize technical certifications for HVAC, CPO for pools/spas, and other specialized training as needed
- Proactively maintain the cleanliness and functionality of resident amenities like pools and clubhouses
- Lead by example, assisting where needed and completing assigned work orders
- Manage the Make-Ready board to ensure turnover work stays on schedule
- Engage in difficult conversations with employees and residents, seeking to understand and resolve issues
- Ensure a safe working and living environment through safety-first practices and proper handling of hazardous substances
Requirements
- Full-time Monday through Friday schedule with occasional on-call hours
- Valid driver's license to operate company-owned vehicles or utilize personal vehicle for work
- Own tool kit to complete work orders
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand/walk for extended periods
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various weather conditions and climates
Qualifications
- Treats all residents with the highest level of concern and care
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal employment laws
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong preventative/predictive maintenance experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Valid driver's license to operate company-owned vehicles or utilize personal vehicle for work
- Physical requirements: able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform tasks in various weather conditions and climates
