Regional Maintenance Director

About the role

The Regional Maintenance Director at American Senior Communities is responsible for mentoring, training, and supporting property maintenance personnel. This role requires the ability to work independently, providing guidance and technical advice on maintenance repairs at ASC facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Make general inspections and recommended maintenance repairs at assigned facilities.
  • Mentor, train, and support property maintenance personnel.
  • Manages and assists properties in correcting State Board of Health and Life Safety deficiencies.
  • Completes life safety pre-survey inspections as assigned.
  • Aids property leadership in interviewing and screening candidates for maintenance positions.
  • Complies with the property's privacy practices and procedures related to resident and employee records, as outlined by HIPAA.
  • Adheres to and uses appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the Bloodborne Pathogens Standards.
  • Demonstrates teamwork and prompt attendance to work to ensure quality care and services are provided to the patients we serve.
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers, and staff.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Formal trade school in maintenance preferred
  • Minimum of two to five years in building maintenance
  • At least 5 years in a maintenance supervisory role with multifacility supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid Indiana Operator’s License
