Position Summary
Anchor Loans is seeking a Regional Loan Originator who can drive sales, build relationships, and support customers throughout the loan cycle. The ideal candidate will reside in the Central Region and travel up to 50% of the time.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify new customers and lending opportunities with property investors and referral partners.
- Drive sales, build and strengthen relationships with property investors, brokers, and real estate agents.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing and new potential borrowers via in-person meetings, calls, and emails.
- Attend industry events and conferences to find and convert leads.
- Evaluate all transactions using standardized tools to size deals, create quotes, and terms sheets.
- Facilitate the borrower approval process by collecting and providing necessary information for loan submission.
- Pre-qualify loan packages and assist potential borrowers with documentation.
- Maintain pipeline reports to monitor loan statuses and address any potential problems.
- Grow the brand by creating and sharing blog posts, online content, and marketing strategies.
- Create strong partnerships with Valuations, Construction, and Underwriting Department Leaders to solve inter-departmental roadblocks.
- Stay updated on industry and competitor trends to inform product, sales, and pricing decisions.

- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with outbound communication and adapting quickly to new procedures and systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable and reliable teammate in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Highly self-motivated and disciplined.
- Experience with CRM is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software and systems.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Compensation
$75,000/year + commission
