This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up in Coeur d’Alene, ID and position yourself for great personal and career growth. You will report to and work directly with the Co-Founders and Operations Manager, starting with hands-on caregiving shifts while helping to establish Agape’s presence. As the first lead role in the area, you’ll have autonomy and the chance to shape your career path—whether in operations, marketing, or another area that fits your skills. The role combines the excitement of a startup with the financial stability of an established firm.
Responsibilities
- Start with Caregiver duties:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
- Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor.
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
- Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
- Act as a backup Caregiver.
- Move into recruitment duties:
- Identify the best sources for Care Professional recruitment.
- Conduct interviews and orientations.
- Retain great Care Professionals.
- Finish with marketing/sales duties:
- Attend local networking events.
- Establish yourself as a trusted industry member.
- Attain referrals from area hospitals, clinics, and other sources.
- Increase the number of service hours weekly.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited Home Care Aide or CNA program.
- Five years of professional caregiving experience.
- Driver’s license and clean driving record; reliable car required.
- Adult CPR & First Aid certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Growth mindset and commitment to servant leadership.
- Willingness to take on caregiving shifts while building the team.
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
