About the role

This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up in Skagit County and position yourself for great personal and career growth. You will report to and work directly with the Co-Founders and Operations Manager, starting with caregiving duties before transitioning into recruitment and marketing/sales. The role offers significant autonomy and advancement tied directly to performance, with the potential to move into general Office/Operations Management, marketing, or another area that fits your skillset.

You must have a driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a reliable car. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will serve as the local representative of Agape to clients, care professionals, and referral sources. You will be supported by an established headquarters and 24/7 staff.

Responsibilities

  • Start with Caregiver duties:
    • Assist clients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
    • Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
    • Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
    • Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
    • Engage patients in exercises or other activities
    • Act as a backup Caregiver
  • Move into recruitment duties:
    • Identify the best sources for Care Professional recruitment
    • Conduct interviews and orientations
    • Retain great Care Professionals
  • Finish with marketing/sales duties:
    • Attend local networking events
    • Establish yourself as a trusted industry member
    • Attain referrals from area hospitals, clinics, and other sources
    • Increase the number of service hours weekly

Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited Home Care Aide or CNA program
  • Five years of professional Caregiving experience
  • Driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Adult CPR & First Aid certification
  • Willingness to take on caregiving shifts while building the business
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and servant leadership mentality
