Regional Job Developer

About the role

This position works directly with American Job Center Customers for job development assistance and placement services.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in meeting their employment goals with high energy and motivation.
• Work independently and be well organized, able to multitask and prioritize projects.
• Work with program/partner staff, program participants and employers to develop opportunities for Subsidized Employment, Community Services and On-the-Job Trainings.
• Provide services including career assessment and guidance, workshops, resume assistance, coordination of supportive services, job search skills assistance, job development and placement, and employer recruitment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree plus three years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent customer service, computer and communication skills required.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and access to daily, reliable and insured transportation.
