Job Summary

Jabil is seeking a Regional Inventor Control (IC) Manager to lead development and support site start-ups, growth, and business expansions across the US region. The role is based at one of our major sites and requires up to 75% travel.

About the Role

This role will cascade the Corporate Materials Operations Strategy through each region, ensuring the deployment of Systems, Tools, Processes, and Procedures. It involves tracking regional performance against goals, providing feedback to the Operations Vice President (Ops VP), and coaching Ops Managers and Materials Professionals in the region. The Regional IC Manager will also serve as the key interface and escalation point for all Materials Operations-related issues.

What You Will Do

  • Create and execute a Regional Improvement Plan for Materials Operations in collaboration with the Ops VP and Regional Ops Development.
  • Execute tactical day-to-day requirements.
  • Achieve best-in-class internal customer satisfaction and service.
  • Coach, lead, mentor with a positive attitude.
  • Maintain strong internal customer relationships at all levels.
  • Identify expected results before engaging with customers or plants.
  • Establish metrics to monitor and ensure effective implementation.
  • Work closely with the corporate SCM & Logistics team to communicate activities and objectives.
  • Co-opt support from necessary functional areas to accomplish goals.

How You Will Get Here

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree OR an appropriate business-related equivalent experience and training. Master’s degree (M.A.) in Business of Finance preferred.
  • Experience: Plus 10+ years business experience in a relevant Jabil position OR equivalent external work experience, including at least 5 years experience in a management role.
  • Must have experience using SAP or other inventory control systems.
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills.
  • Ability to influence with data.
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Willingness to travel within the region up to 75% of the time with occasional international travel possible as business required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
  • Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company's business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
  • Strong financial and analytical ability.
  • Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
  • Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
  • Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and managing continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
  • Strong and convincing communication skills.
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

Pay and Benefits

  • The pay range for this role is $115,500 - $207,900. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
