Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR advisor for multiple skilled nursing facilities.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, corrective action, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Support leaders in building positive, engaged, and retention-focused workplace cultures.
- Support onboarding, orientation, and retention programs to improve workforce stability.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including those specific to long-term care.
- Support facilities during surveys, audits, and investigations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and HR records in alignment with regulatory standards.
- Provide leadership coaching to administrators, department heads, and supervisors.
- Facilitate training on HR policies, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Support annual performance evaluations and ongoing staff development initiatives.
- Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, staffing levels, and employee engagement.
- Partner with corporate HR on benefits, compensation, and organizational initiatives.
- Lead change-management efforts for new systems, policies, or organizational priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-site or regional responsibility.
- Skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of employment law and regulatory requirements in SNFs.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel 70-80% of the time within the assigned region.
