About the role
This role performs technical and archival duties to preserve Uinta Basin history, including processing records and artifacts. The position supports the arrangement of archival collections and the creation of historical displays in the county building under professional guidance.
Responsibilities
- Assist patrons with research
- Manage digital scanning projects
- Record oral histories
Requirements
Qualified candidates will possess one of the following:
- A high school diploma or GED supplemented by two years of relevant experience in a library, archive, museum, or historical organization
- An Associate's degree in History, Library Science, Museum Studies, or a related field, combined with one year of experience in archives or historical preservation
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (no prior experience required, as comprehensive training will be provided)
- An equivalent combination of education and professional experience
Pay
$17.42 an hour, depending on experience
