Regional Heavy Equipment Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Travel to other locations when necessary to fulfill job requirements
• Build relationships with customers
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Train operators in the proper daily and periodic machine care and operation of the machine
• Repair machines as needed
• Be the 'face' of Earthborne to our valued customers and their field employees
• Service regular customers in accordance with long term service contracts. Visit each machine four times a year

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• 3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment or similar
• Experience working on tree care of forestry equipment preferred
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Good communications skills
• C competence with hand, air and electrical tools
• Able to consistently repair components and equipment in line with manufacturer's standards.
• Must be self-motivated and trustworthy
• Able to work independently and handle responsibility to make field decisions
• Own Basic Tools for equipment repair
• Willingness to travel for two to three weeks at a time
• Must have a good driving record. CDL not required but a plus

Pay

Starting salary of $75,000.00 per year based on experience
