Regional Field Manager - Weld County

About the role

Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is seeking a Regional Field Manager (Grassroots Engagement Director) to lead grassroots efforts in Weld County, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to driving positive change through policy reform.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders in Weld County, CO
• Motivate these leaders to advocate for change consistent with AFP's principles
• Organize events to engage the public through various methods
• Keep activists motivated, educated, and active
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors

Requirements

• Passion for people and ability to build relationships quickly
• Understanding of state and federal public policy landscapes
• Self-motivation and organization skills
• Experience in grassroots advocacy, community organizing, or political campaigns

• Valid driver's license

Pay

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per year. Actual amount may vary based on various factors.

Schedule

A flexible and changing work schedule, including evenings and weekends, may be required.

Standout Candidates

Experience in grassroots advocacy, community organizing, and/or political campaigns, as well as volunteer or staff supervisory experience, will be highly valued.
