About the role
Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is seeking a Regional Field Manager (Grassroots Engagement Director) to lead grassroots efforts in Alaska. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to AFP's mission.
Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders in Alaska
- Mobilize grassroots leaders to take action and drive policy reforms
- Organize events to engage the public through various methods
- Keep activists motivated, educated, and active
- Manage part-time canvassing contractors
Requirements
- Passion for people and ability to build relationships quickly
- Understanding of state and federal public policy landscapes
- Self-motivation and organization skills
- Experience in grassroots advocacy, community organizing, and/or political campaigns
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
