Regional Field Manager - Phoenix

About the role

Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is seeking a Regional Field Manager (Grassroots Engagement Director) to lead grassroots efforts in Phoenix. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to AFP's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders in Phoenix
• Mobilize grassroots leaders to take action and drive policy reforms
• Organize events to engage the public through various methods
• Keep activists motivated, educated, and active
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors

Requirements

• Passion for people and ability to build relationships quickly with diverse individuals
• Knowledge of state and federal public policy landscapes
• Experience in grassroots advocacy, community organizing, and/or political campaigns
• Self-motivation and flexibility in working hours
• Valid driver's license for travel

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple events and activities
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience supervising volunteers or staff

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in public speaking and event planning

Pay

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $50,000-$65,000 per year. Additional bonus compensation may be available.

Schedule

The role requires flexibility and may involve evenings and weekends.
