Regional Field Manager - Orlando
About the role
Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is seeking a Regional Field Manager (Grassroots Engagement Director) to lead grassroots efforts in Orlando. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to driving policy reforms that benefit all.
Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders in Orlando
- Mobilize these leaders to take action and advocate for change
- Train and equip local leaders to advocate for policies consistent with AFP's principles
- Organize events to engage the public through various methods
- Stay in regular contact with activists to keep them motivated and active
- Manage part-time canvassing contractors, ensuring compliance and best practices
Requirements
- Passion for people and ability to build relationships quickly
- Understanding of state and federal public policy landscapes
- Self-motivation and organization skills
- Experience in grassroots advocacy, community organizing, or political campaigns
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license for travel
- Flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Entrepreneurial attitude and commitment to AFP's values
Skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

$50,000 - $65,000 annually
