Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for Window Nation in support of the Director of Event Marketing.
  • Attend trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events, and manage the event marketing team in generating new sales leads.
  • Recruit, hire, train, develop, and manage a team that delivers an incredible event experience to generate sales leads.
  • Foster a highly effective team with a focus on accountability and clear communication.
  • Make decisive actions around performance management to ensure a top-performing team.
  • Manage market EMMs event calendars, ensuring coverage of all geographical locations, appropriate event selection, and proper staffing for success.
  • Strategize incentives to promote event performance, drive close rates, and boost revenue growth.
  • Responsible for budgeting events and maintaining the approved budget.
  • Partner with branch operations and sales to grow brand presence within local markets.
  • Work with EMMs to ensure event marketing best practices are consistently followed (inventory management, one-on-one development, training, reporting, etc.).
  • Track and report metrics to evaluate performance and ROI of events.
  • Responsible for exceeding lead generation and cost of marketing quotas based on established KPIs.
  • Travel: 50% including some weekends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in event marketing with a track record of successful event execution.
  • 3+ years leading employees.
  • Ability to work weekends and/or evenings to support events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years leading a team in dispersed locations.
  • Roll-up-the-sleeves and get-it-done approach.
  • Strong recruiting and training skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage and develop others.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for event marketing.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
