About the role
Tilray Beer, a division of Tilray Brands Inc., is seeking a Regional Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator - Northeast to support the company's mission of being a leading premium lifestyle company with a house of brands and innovative products.
Responsibilities
- Directs and implements all Company environmental health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, standards, and requirements.
- Led a proactive EHS culture, ensuring facilities meet state and federal OSHA safety standards and federal/local environmental requirements.
- Manages local/state or OSHA/EPA site inspections, providing effective training on safety/environmental related topics.
- Develops EHS improvement initiatives and manages on-going EHS operations, collaborating with other Tilray Beer EHS leaders to create and implement EHS strategies and best practices.
- Provides leadership to senior management team regarding EHS strategic objectives and regulatory compliance issues.
- Directs activities to conduct investigations, identify root cause and recommend corrective measures, representing the facility to external regulatory agencies and supporting the negotiation of penalties.
- Acts as a point-of-contact for EHS vendors, managing vendor relationships.
- Identifies unsafe behaviors and conditions, interpreting regulatory requirements and applying them to the workplace.
- Manages EHS information and data as required by regulatory agencies.
- Manages multiple priorities independently, taking initiative and maintaining integrity in EHS matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental, or related field.
- 1-3 years leading or coordinating Safety/Environmental programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Familiarity with OSHA/EPA and state rules and regulations.
- Investigative, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Six Sigma training or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills, comfortable with change, and able to lead change.
- Values teamwork and can collaborate with all levels of the organization.

Physical Requirements
- Primarily conducts work in a sitting position but requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, and light lifting.
- Occasional forklift use and working at heights may be required.
Salary
$75,000 - $85,000 annually
