Regional District General Manager-Texas

The Residential Regional General Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of the business within a defined region to achieve equipment revenue targets, maximize profits, increase share, and ensure customer loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Lead the region to achieve budgeted sales, margin, and full P&L objectives within the assigned geographic territory.
- Participate in regional business planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support execution of business goals.
- Develop, lead, and support a high-performing team of area managers, sales leaders, customer support leaders, field service leaders, and development managers.
- Set the vision for the region and build an engaged, empowered, and winning culture that delivers a world-class customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety, quality, and sales and operations standards to drive effective execution and customer satisfaction.
- Build strong partnerships with Trane dealers, commercial sales offices, and retail operations leaders to strengthen channel performance and operational excellence.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, team performance, and resource utilization, while using communication, talent development, and performance management processes to improve business results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experience from an accredited four-year institution, along with 10+ years of sales and operations management experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of general management experience with a proven ability to lead teams and drive results.
- Demonstrated success in building strong customer relationships and leading high-performing teams.
- HVAC sales experience or related HVAC knowledge preferred, including familiarity with HVAC distribution, dealer sales, service, installation, construction processes, and business practices.
- Experience developing and executing distribution and sales plans designed to grow market share and improve margins.
- Strong computer proficiency required, including experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Valid driver’s license required, with no major or frequent traffic violations, to meet company authorized driver requirements.

Pay
This position offers a combination of base salary and target sales incentive bonus, with total annual target compensation ranging from $220,000 to $350,000. Actual base salary will vary based on experience, with the minimum starting base salary of $150,000.
