regional distribution manager, Coffeehouse Development

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Coffeehouse Development centers
• Oversee metrics and handle escalations
• Lead and develop continuous improvement ideas
• Assist with annual financial planning for the distribution centers
• Work with cross-functional teams on projects, best practices, and operational opportunities
• Inspire and influence others to achieve results
• Hold the distribution centers accountable for performance standards as per Starbucks SOPs
• Serve as the Starbucks point of contact for 3PL providers for service and cost accountability
• Liaise with planning, distribution field service, and daily relationships with 3PL providers
• Standardize and ensure compliance with Starbucks policies and procedures
• Establish and implement quality and cost improvement initiatives that are supported and sustained by all distribution partners.
• Contribute to the development of effective cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in retail distribution center management
• Logistics Service Provider Experience
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Able to work with cross-functional teams and build relationships with external partners
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle escalations
• Able to travel nationwide as needed up to 75%

Pay

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
