Regional Director, Southwest

For our client, we are seeking a Regional Director, Southwest to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This leader will guide a regional sales organization focused on specialty pharmacy markets and physician-administered treatments across the Southwest. The role will partner closely with national leadership to execute field strategies, strengthen market performance, and help shape commercial plans that support both regional and enterprise objectives. Success in this position will require strong people leadership, deep reimbursement knowledge, and the ability to navigate healthcare delivery dynamics and policy considerations. The position is remote and may involve travel within the region to support strategy execution, team development, and cross-functional alignment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually Responsibilities Lead recruitment and retention efforts to build and maintain a high-performing regional team. Train, coach, and motivate Account Managers to improve job performance and execution. Execute field strategies to achieve regional and national objectives. Contribute to the development of national sales strategies and tactics. Deliver business plans through regular reviews with corporate leadership. Monitor regional healthcare delivery trends and public policy initiatives. Identify region-specific opportunities and barriers to support successful execution. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; advanced business degree preferred. 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. 7+ years of experience in sales or market access. 5+ years of management experience in sales or market access. Proven success in specialty pharmacy markets, including recognition awards. Strong knowledge of reimbursement and insurance for physician-administered treatments.
