Job Skills / Requirements
- We are seeking a driven, consultative, and results-oriented Regional Director to help grow our cybersecurity business by acquiring new customers.
- The ideal candidate has experience selling complex cybersecurity solutions and understands how to navigate technical questions, operational support questions, and complex buying processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Generation & Pipeline Development:
- Own and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, partner engagement, networking, and marketing follow-up.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline aligned to quarterly and annual targets.
- Develop strategic account plans for target customers and verticals.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management within CRM platforms.
- Prospect Engagement:
- Conduct discovery conversations to uncover prospect pain points, business objectives, and security gaps.
- Position cybersecurity solutions aligned to prospect risk, compliance, operational, and business needs.
- Build relationships with technical stakeholders, procurement teams, and executive leadership.
- Present value-based business cases and ROI discussions.
- Cook up internal resources to support prospect evaluations and buying decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Security Engineers during demos, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Work closely with Customer Success and Delivery teams to ensure smooth customer transitions post-sale.
- Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, events, and account-based outreach.
- Support Channel and Partner initiatives to drive pipeline growth.
- Sales Process & Execution:
- Utilize structured sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, Command of the Message, or similar frameworks.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in partnership with leadership and legal teams.
- Maintain disciplined sales hygiene and activity tracking within CRM and sales engagement platforms.
- Consistently communicate account status, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with B2B cybersecurity sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota.
- Experience selling enterprise or mid-market cybersecurity solutions and managed services.
- Strong understanding of:
- MDR/XDR
- SIEM
- Endpoint security
- SOX operations
- Managed security services
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working within MSSP, MDR, or cybersecurity SaaS environments.
