Primary Responsibilities

  • Leads, coaches, and develops a regional team of field-based Nurse Case Managers, fostering a high-performing, patient-centric culture.
  • Sets regional standards, priorities, and expectations for patient access and education delivery.
  • Owns talent management including hiring, onboarding, performance management, development planning, and succession readiness.
  • Owes regional execution of Dyne’s patient access and education strategy across the full patient journey, from onboarding through ongoing therapy support.
  • Establishes and optimizes regional processes for coverage determination, prior authorization, appeals, reimbursement navigation, and therapy initiation.
  • Serves as the regional escalation leader for complex patient access challenges, driving timely, patient-focused resolution of barriers to therapy.
  • Led regional collaboration with Payer Account Management, Hub Operations, Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams to align patient support strategies and execution.
  • Provides regional insights, access trends, and operational learnings to inform national patient services strategy and program evolution.
  • Buils and maintains strong relationships with healthcare providers, infusion centers, and specialty pharmacy partners.
  • Owns regional performance metrics related to patient onboarding, time to therapy, reimbursement outcomes, and patient experience.
  • Uses data and insights to drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and enhanced patient outcomes.
  • Maintains deep knowledge of rare disease treatment pathways and payer dynamics to proactively adapt regional strategy.
  • Ensures all activities align with Dyne policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.

Education And Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; background in healthcare (e.g., nursing, social work, or allied health) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare environments.
  • 6+ years of experience in patient services, field reimbursement, nurse case management, patient education, or related functions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading regional or multi-state, field-based teams, with direct people management responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of payer coverage, reimbursement pathways, prior authorization, and appeals for HCP-administered therapies.
  • Experience supporting specialty and/or rare disease therapies; launch experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into scalable execution through people, processes, and metrics.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Domestic travel up to 30% required to support regional teams and key partners.
