Position Overview

The Regional Director oversees sales, operations, and the financial well-being of the Region. Key responsibilities include guiding multi-site operations, influencing business outcomes, developing high-performing teams, solving complex challenges, and ensuring quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains existing clients and generates proposals to close new business.
  • Collaborates with MCS Business Development to ensure operational efficiencies.
  • Utilizes and updates Salesforce for prospects and new business.
  • Promotes the brand by attending networking events and participating in trade associations.
  • Develops and maintains client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Conducts customer and tenant visitations and inspections to ensure quality control and contract compliance.
  • Sends daily inspection reports to the office for database input into MasterCorps inspection system, Orange QC.
  • Reviews inspection notes daily with the operations team.
  • Responds promptly and accurately to customers' emails.
  • Assists/completes payroll review each pay period.
  • Conducts bi-weekly operations meetings and quarterly training meetings.
  • Partners with Operations team to correct service deficiencies and walk sites with Operations team during and after business hours.
  • Performs monthly P&L review with the President and Finance Director.
  • Manages and ensures effective communication between Facility Services, Office Management, and all corporate departments.
  • Onboards and supervises Operations, Area Managers, and Account Managers.
  • Ensures MCS policies and procedures are followed by managers and supervisors and performs coaching and counseling as needed.
  • Provides MasterCorp systems training to all staff.
  • Maintains security for customers' access keys.
  • Participates, as needed, in special department projects.
  • Effectively uses and understands MasterCorp's scheduling program, MasterMind.
  • Keeps and maintains the Region's client appointments.
  • Manages the Region's budget, payroll, supplies, and any other required budgets.
  • Visits regularly and maintains excellent relations with customers.
  • Manages Region day and night.
  • Manages floor crew efficiently and effectively.

Experience And Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to this position or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive management responsibility in a field directly related to this position with successful multi-site responsibilities; required.
  • Ten years’ experience in facility operations, preferably within an education/campus facility, preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and highly effective interpersonal skills (Bilingual Spanish a plus).
  • Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize and delegate as needed.
  • Self-motivated team player with a high sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Proficient in Orange QC or other common facility management, quality management, and work order monitoring tools.
  • Work irregular hours including weekends and after hours.

Physical Requirements

This position frequently requires standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, reaching, occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions.
