Regional Director of Operations (Healthcare Dietary)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of healthcare dietary professionals, focusing on teamwork, communication, and excellent customer service
• Develop and implement effective operational strategies to improve patient satisfaction, quality, and safety
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and manage menus, ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions and regulations
• Manage and monitor food safety, quality, and inventory control, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of food and supplies
• Develop and maintain budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize cost savings
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, such as HIPAA and Joint Commission
• Conduct quality control assessments and implement process improvements as needed
• Foster positive relationships with healthcare staff, patients, and families to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction

Requirements

• Experience in healthcare dietary operations, preferably in a leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
