Overview
The Regional Director of Service Operations is responsible for leading the Service Business Unit Managers in multiple offices to execute work effectively. This role involves overseeing the strategic growth within the Service group for the assigned geographic region.
Responsibilities
- Makes safety the number one priority in the business unit.
- Develops and implements an execution plan to maximize overall business objectives and ensure maximum profitability.
- Manages the Service team to maintain, embrace, and enforce the Company Core Values and lead by example.
- Communicates with others to identify, manage, and share overall best practices and company resources.
- Hiring and disciplinary duties.
- Maintains and meets or exceeds growth goals.
- Provides key leadership direction for operations within the Service business unit to ensure a cohesive team.
- Collaborates with the team to coordinate efforts.
- Creates and manages Key Performance Indicators.
- Determines improper growth strategies within each office (e.g., new locations, vertical markets, service offerings).
- Implements growth strategies.
- Evaluates performance of each office relative to customer satisfaction and provides leadership for performance enhancement and proactive resolution of issues.
- Affords resources as needed to ensure business unit and project team commitments to customers are met.
- Manages personnel priorities relating to technical ability and staffing levels to gain greater efficiencies to improve customer satisfaction and reduce cost.
- Works with managers to coordinate hiring of local staff, conducts performance reviews, recommends salary changes, and resolves internal personnel issues.
- Ensures compliance with state, local, and federal legal requirements and operates the business with the highest level of ethics.
- Ensures the quality of work to corporate standards and project requirements.
- Mets or exceeds all financial budgets and goals, including reviewing all setups, monitoring all pricing, and reviewing cost data with the team(s).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years successful and verifiable experience.
- Experience in managing at least $15-20MM in Service business.
- Knowledge of MEP systems.
- Passion for providing services and promoting safety on the job, along with the ability to enforce safety policies within the department.
- Understanding of the company's policies and procedures, creating solutions, offering guidance, and managing the Business Units with minimal strategic guidance from executives.
- Ability to manage profit and losses as well as reporting on quarterly and monthly projections.
- Ability to create a reliable budget as part of a professional business unit budget plan.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
Pay Range
USD $128,500.00 - USD $171,600.00 /Yr.
