Regional Director of Acquisitions
Position Summary
The Regional Director of Acquisitions will play a central role in the company's growth strategy, not by sourcing new deals, but by helping build the acquisition game plan and driving its execution from signed deal through long-term stabilization. This role owns the critical work that happens once a transaction is identified: shaping the acquisition and integration strategy, leading the transition of newly acquired communities, and ensuring each community is fully stabilized (operationally, financially, and culturally) under the Claiborne Senior Living platform. This is a high-visibility role with a path to a Vice President of Acquisitions & Integration position for a candidate who demonstrates strong results.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with senior leadership to build the strategic game plan for each acquisition, including transition timelines, staffing plans, systems conversion, and operational readiness
Lead execution of the game plan across cross-functional teams (operations, HR, finance, IT, compliance, marketing) to ensure a smooth, well-coordinated transition
Serve as the on-the-ground leader for newly acquired communities during the transition period, managing day-to-day integration activities
Oversee the conversion of acquired communities to company systems, policies, procedures, and brand standards
Manage change management and communication with existing staff, residents, and families throughout the transition
Identify and resolve operational, staffing, or facility issues uncovered during transition to minimize disruption to residents and care
Drive post-acquisition stabilization efforts, including census growth, staff retention, budget alignment, and quality/compliance benchmarks
Achieve key performance indicators for each transitioned community and adjust the stabilization plan as needed until the community meets target operating standards
Serve as a liaison between corporate leadership and community-level teams during the integration period
Document lessons learned and refine the standard transition/integration playbook for future acquisitions
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (MBA a plus)

Working knowledge of senior living operations, staffing models, and regulatory/licensing requirements
Excellent change management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills
Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments during transition periods
Ability to travel extensively to assigned assets, including extended on-site stays during active transitions
Financial acumen sufficient to manage budgets, monitor KPIs, and drive communities toward stabilized performance
