Regional Director
About the role
You will have direct oversight of all service line operations and performance for each location within Illinois, including affiliate organizations, while reporting to the Senior Vice President/Northern Bureau Chief of AHF. This leadership-focused role drives growth, expansion, community engagement, outreach, and advocacy.
You will serve as the liaison between AHF and grassroots community-based organizations, other AIDS service organizations, and state and local health departments. The role includes assessing funding opportunities, monitoring contract deliverables, ensuring compliance, and developing processes to improve overall patient care.
You will monitor site performance and key metrics to meet organizational goals, participate in employee engagement, hiring, and mentoring, and oversee general site maintenance and construction of healthcare centers, pharmacies, testing locations, thrift stores, and regional offices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all service line operations and performance for locations in Illinois, including affiliate organizations.
- Drive growth, expansion, community engagement, events, outreach, and advocacy initiatives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between AHF and community-based organizations, AIDS service organizations, and government health departments.
- Assess funding opportunities and monitor contract deliverables to ensure compliance.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate processes to improve patient care.
- Monitor site performance and key metrics to achieve organizational goals.
- Participate in employee engagement, hiring, and mentoring activities.
- Oversee general site maintenance and construction of healthcare centers, pharmacies, testing locations, thrift stores, and regional offices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with local and national teams and community leaders.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of current standards of HIV/AIDS care, Ryan White (RW) programs, HIV testing, and case management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven leadership experience in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
